A Place Dogs Belong
Dogs stay free, the yard is right outside your door, and the trails start where the property ends.

What We Provide:
Every guest with a dog is welcome to:
• A water bowl in the room and a fresh-water station near the yard
• Old towels, in case the trails get muddy
• Dog-waste bags by the back gate
• Treats waiting on arrival (we restock weekly)
• A yard to walk in or sit in
• Direct access from the property to the Wildflower Ridge Preserve trail network
✵ We don't charge for any of this. It's just what we keep on hand for guests with dogs.
Our pet policy, in plain English
Dogs stay free at The Pines. No pet fee, no per-dog charge, no surprises at check-in.
We don't have breed or size restrictions. A 90-pound shepherd is just as welcome as a 7-pound terrier, and we've hosted both in the same week.
The one rule that matters: dogs cannot be left alone in the room. Not because we don't trust them — most are perfectly fine — but because unfamiliar spaces produce bark-and-scratch responses that other guests can hear. If you need to step out for dinner, we'll point you at one of the dog-friendly downtown patios so your dog can come along, or we'll suggest a local boarder for the few hours.
If your dog has a quiet day in them and behaves well around other dogs and people, that's all we need to know.

Which Rooms Work
Best for Dogs
Every one of the seven units is pet-friendly.
A few options work especially well depending on the trip:
The Comfort Cottage is the top pick for guests with dogs. One-bedroom cottage with a full kitchen and a dishwasher. Queen bed. The only unit with a bathtub. Hammock and patio. Best for longer stays, anniversaries, or guests who want the cottage feel and the space to cook.
The King Studios are the everyday pick. King bed, max two guests, real kitchenette with cook top and full-size fridge, patio with garden view. All four are the same price and similar; we don't guarantee a specific room but will try to honor a request.
The King 11 Suite is set up like a premium hotel room — king bed, no kitchenette, but a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a small fridge with freezer. New leather chairs. 65-inch TV, a small ice maker, a quiet patio. Pick this if you want the suite size without the kitchen.
